Blackberry Lime Margarita Recipe

2 cups blackberries
1/2 cup lime juice (or substitute 1/2 cup Margarita Texas Mix)
3/4 cups white tequila
2 cups ice cubes
1/4 cup sugar

Puree blackberries in a blender. Force puree through a fine sieve into a small bowl and discard solids.  In a cocktail shaker, combine 1/2 cup puree and remaining ingredients and shake well.

The sweetness is not overwhelming but if you prefer a less sweet drink, it is okay to use less sugar.

This is my favorite margartia. it does require a bit of prep but if you do it ahead and have everything in the fridge it is really easy to mix up. It is worth the extra effort. I so enjoy this drink.
