Type of Margarita Tasted: Margarita Especial
Ingredients Listed on Menu: Patron Anejo Gold tequila, Grand Marnier and Sweet and Sour
Review: While looking at the menu at Del Pueblo Mexican Restaurant you are treated to a wide selection of reasonably priced margaritas. We ended up choosing a tasty version called the Margarita Especial . This drink has strong characteristics but goes down remarkably smooth. The sweetness is moderate and balances well with the freshness of the other ingredients.

Type of Margarita Tasted: Ultimate Margarita
Ingredients Listed on Menu: 1800 Reposado, Grand Marnier and "signature sweet n' sour"
Review: Red Robin lists their Ultimate Margarita as the "best of the best." The drink tasted like a thick generic mix and was only partially saved by the tequila. Additionally, this margarita was on the high of the sweetness meter which made it less appealing.

Type of Margarita Tasted: Cadillac Margarita on the rocks
Ingredients Listed on Menu: 1800 tequila, Grand Marnier and lime juice
Review: On a beautiful weather day, Kemah Boardwalk is an excellent location to enjoy a quality margarita. The Cadillac margarita partially delivered in this area. While the drink had a favorable taste it was a tad sweeter than preferred. The alcohol content was on the extreme low side. Another troublesome note, the drink was served to us in a small plastic cup. Maybe if we sat down at the restaurant and not the bar we would have been treated to glassware.

Type of Margarita Tasted: Top Shelf margarita on the rocks and frozen
Ingredients Listed on Menu: Top Shelf margarita - Patron tequila
Review: Escalante's Mexican Restaurant serves up their version of the top shelf margarita in a clear shaker. The drink pours out smooth and goes down the same way. We especially enjoyed the taste which consisted of fresh lime juice with moderate sweetness. Our margarita was mixed perfectly as it was not overly strong and you could still taste the tequila.

Type of Margarita Tasted: Frozen Original Margarita and Patron Perfect Margarita
Ingredients Listed on Menu:
Original Margarita - "Rudy's Special Recipe", Patron Perfect
Margarita - Patron Silver, Patron Citronge, Cointreau and lime
Review: Rudy's Grill and Cantina in Cypress has a stellar selection of margaritas. Our favorite of the night was the exceedingly smooth Patron Perfect Margarita. You can not go wrong with this well mixed drink. The frozen house margarita was also top-notch, exhibiting tasty flavor and excellent ratio of tequila. We were also treated to a margarita that is not yet featured on the menu. A strawberry liqueur was added to the on the rocks house version of the margarita which surprisingly did not overwhelm the drink with a sugary taste. Rudy's offers an extremely friendly staff and wonderful margarita drinking experience.

Type of Margarita Tasted: Grand Gold Margarita
Ingredients Listed on Menu: Grand Marnier and Cuervo Gold
Review: The grand gold margarita at Los Tios
Mexican Restaurant is rich in flavor and notably strong. The
presentation and color of the drink makes you want to dive right into
the martini style glass. Cuervo gold is not known for being
smooth; a premium tequila would most likely balance out this drink well.
This version is above average for those that enjoy a hearty flavorful
margarita.
