Review: Their margarita's look nice visually; dressed with a thinly sliced lime on the rim of the cup. That's about the only positive though. The drink is excessively sweet and barely tastes like it has any alcohol. Taqueria Mexico is definitely not a good place to go if you are looking to drink margaritas. The food is good though.Address: 820 Fm 1960 Rd W Houston, TX 77090 (map)

Review: The regular margaritas here are strong and tasty. I have not had the gold version to compare but I imagine they are toxic (in a good way). The regular margaritas do not disappoint. They go down smooth and have just the right sweetness. These margaritas go great with any meal or if you want to drink them alone.Address: 1027 N Loop 336 W, Conroe, TX 77301 (map)

Type of Margarita Tasted: Large gold w/ salt on the rocks
Ingredients Listed on Menu: "Gold tequila, Grand Marnier, lemon/lime juice."
Review: This margarita is amazing! As the waiter brings it to your table your mouth will water. It has a wonderful golden glow. One of our all time favorite margaritas. Be careful, this margarita is strong but not too overpowering with a tequila taste. Great blend of all the ingredients. Worth the drive out to Conroe. We definitely don't recommend driving after two jumbo's ... if you can finish both.

Review: Los Cucos is always a great place to go. Awesome food and service to match. Your best bet is to get this margarita as a jumbo gold on the rocks. Extremely tasty! Packs a punch while maintaining its flavor.Address: 14315 Cypress Rosehill Rd, Cypress, TX 77429 (map)

Review: Alicia's Mexican Grille is a new restaurant at this location so we thought we would give it a try. We are always willing to give a new establishment a chance. We both ordered large frozen top shelf margaritas with salt. The mix had a pleasant sweetness and the gold tequila, while not 100% blue agave gave this drink a surprisingly smooth taste. This drink is nice and strong but not too overpowering. If you're in the area, we definitely recommend sampling this beverage.
