Type of Margarita Tasted: Gold Margarita on the rocks
Ingredients Listed on Menu: Jose Cuervo Gold, Grand Marnier and Sweet & Sour
Review: The mix in this margarita was too thick so you could barely taste the tequila. The sweet and sour overwhelmed the flavor which took away from the appeal of this margarita. Though, it was Cinco de Mayo so they had some great specials on margaritas.Address: 25686 Northwest Freeway, Cypress, TX 77429 (map)

Type of Margarita Tasted: Borderita Grande frozen, Gold Rocks
Ingredients Listed on Menu: Borderita Grande (Sauza Conmemorativo and orange Cognac), Gold Rocks (Jose Cuervo Gold, orange Cognac and Triple Sec)
Review: The Borderita Grande was extremely smooth and had an excellent flavor. It had the perfect sweetness that you would expect from a top shelf margarita. The Sauza Conmemorativo tends to create an exceptional margarita every time. The Gold margarita was also enjoyable. Most restaurants do not use orange cognac in their rita's but I found it give it a unique tasty flavor. The variety of margaritas and overall balanced taste make this a place we would visit again.

Type of Margarita Tasted: The Perfect Margarita, frozen and on the rocks
Ingredients Listed on Menu: The Perfect Margarita - Sauza Conmemorativo, Cointreu, Grand Marnier, Triple Sec, orange juice and fresh lime juice.
Review: Cafe Adobe is advertised as "Houston's Best Margarita" so we definitely had to make a trip to this restaurant. The frozen version is a tasty beverage worthy of competing with the best margarita's in Houston. It is a strong drink but without the strong alcohol taste. On a nice day, we recommend drinking one out on the patio.Address: 19831 N.W. Freeway, Houston, TX 77065 (map)

Type of Margarita Tasted: Regular frozen and Top Shelf on the rocks
Ingredients Listed on Menu: none
Review: The regular frozen margarita had an excellent balance between sweetness and alcohol. We actually preferred this version over the top shelf on the rocks which had an overpowering taste of tequila. The waiter informed us that both drinks use Cuervo but the top shelf had Grand Marnier added. The regular margaritas are reasonably priced and definitely worthy of ordering another.Address: 17445 Spring Cypress Road, Cypress, TX 77429 (map)

Each drink we tried had it's own unique taste and we weren't disappointed with any of them. Our favorites were the Mango and Grand Gold. Pappasito's is definitely a great place to go for margarita's.
