Review: El Real Tex Mex has been on our “need to try” margaritas since they opened. This was our first time at their establishment so we were excited to see what the menu had to offer. Spicy margaritas have easily become our favorite version of the cocktail so the Rodeo Rita was selected. Fresh jalapenos float in the bright green drink that is dosed with jalapeno infused tequila. This margarita delivered in flavor and heat. The balance between spice and sweet made the beverage easy to consume while still bringing intensity. Equally as tasty was the prickly pear margarita. This tamer version was more fruit dominant from the prickly pear. We ended up tossing some of the jalapeno slices from the Rodeo and doing an on the fly muddling with our straw to spice that one up as well. Unfortunately, two margaritas was all we were able to take in during our short time spent at the bar. We will definitely be back to sample some of their other creations.
